You start catching yourself mid-overreaction, recognizing that your “bad mood” is actually unprocessed anxiety, and that maybe—just maybe—not everyone is out to get you. Awareness doesn’t fix things overnight, but it makes ignorance impossible. It’s the first and most humbling step toward sanity (and slightly fewer existential crises).
